Principal photography is wrapped on AVOCADO MAN and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Actually, that’s not true. What made us happiest were the beautiful people we met.

And he may know something the rest of us have forgotten.
If this is a cult, we’ve already drunk the cool-aid.
When we were filming BOYS IN THE STREET, we got to know Grammy award-winning musician Dan Tyminski and acclaimed songwriter Greg Holden.
Sunday morning of the shoot, the two sat down on set and performed the title song together. It was magic. And a bond was made.
So, we decided to ask the two of them if they’d want to collaborate on a project together. The result?
The elevator pitch: Greg and Dan play golf with a hero in the community and get a surprise celebrity visit. Music will be made, songs will be written. It’s going to be a whole thing.
We’ve added offices/staff housing in Morro Bay, CA, officially making 34 West bi-coastal!
This additional property will allow staff close proximity to our Creative Team in L.A as well as well as a landing pad when Zoom just isn’t enough.
On our road trip across the South and Southwest, with a min-van full of file boxes and 2 Emmy awards, we came up with some BRILLIANT story ideas.
Wait for it…
…Fur versus furniture. A lovable family of squirrels refuses to leave the cozy attic they’ve called home when a cranky old gay couple decide it’s eviction time. What follows is an all-out battle of wits, acorns, and attitude… until everyone learns that family isn’t just who lives under your roof… it’s who you make room for.
We’re so pleased with ourselves.
Now all we need are the animators. Easy peasy. To Be Continued.

We had the chance to speak with emerging filmmakers at the Reedy Reels Film Festival in Greenville, SC, chatting about constant creativity, finding your people, and that elusive sweet spot between business and art.
Honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect or who (if anyone) would relate to our experience. Half the time we still feel like imposters.
But to the surprise of absolutely no one (except us… not Justin Wheelon), it turned out to be a hit! Great questions, new faces (and followers!)… and, true story, someone even hugged Steve with tears in their eyes, thanking him for what we said.

It’s not every day you get to act alongside a 14-time Grammy Award winner, under the direction of an Emmy-winning filmmaker, and with an Academy Award-winning producer behind the scenes.
But actor-writer-producer Jeff Querin did just that—and absolutely nailed it.
As the lead in BOYS IN THE STREET, Jeff set the tone for the entire cast and crew—on camera and off.
Long days? No problem.
Emotional honesty on screen? Effortless.
And when it came time to wrap production, there was a collective sigh of relief… and a well-earned celebration of a job beautifully done.

Emmy Award-winning director Justin Wheelon is almost finished with post-production of the upcoming documentary about 34 West.
We got to see a rough cut of the documentary and I’m not crying, you’re crying!
To be honest, there’s been SO MANY conversations about whether the doc would be interesting to anyone else — especially anyone not familiar with our relationship.
We live together, work together, create together,..
But so far the answer from strangers who’ve seen the rough cut is “ABSOLUTELY”.
We’re assuming it’s because they just can’t peel their eyes away from the train wreck that is our lives.
